I've been wondering if that was going to be fixed in time. It's been pretty close a couple of years, and we have had to go around at least twice. Always exciting on the coast!

Definitely going to be closed, so we'll have to go around. We've got a couple of options, we could go out through Carmel Valley and over the mountains on a state road, or we can go around and hug the inland foothills. I'll post a couple of map options when I'm caught up.

On the itinerary, this is listed as Monterey to San Luis Obispo - "SLO Campout"
So.... where's the campout? Anyone have any further information on this day/night of the Treffen?

It's on private property near by. I think it's only $20, I'll double check, but no reservations needed. I haven't posted the address yet, because I don't want to invite a bunch of non-cruisers like folks did at Camp Arnaz last year-- it caused problems. People even showed up without VW's, heh. I'll shoot you a message.
