There's a lot of open Sites at Mallard right now. Indian is close by and has electric hookups. Both are close to the marina, which has boat rentals.

Is this going to be a group campout in a designated area for 2 nights or are we supposed to just make our own reservations at Lake Casitas?
Anyone happen to know?

I tried to get a group spot, no dice. I also asked if I could block off a group of sites together for a week or so while folks made reservations-- nope. I just got off the phone with them, as I was having trouble on their website here: https://reservations.casitaswater.org/r ... n/camping/

So, off to a great start! The lady on the phone was super helpful though and said to have everyone just call her direct at 805-649-1122

Ask for the Mallard campground. Site M50 is available and very roomy (just looked), but there's sites all around the loop open right now.

Booked M8 at Mallard. If anyone wants to share the site with us for half the cost, plenty of room. Only two vehicles per site per the reservation so we can take the first to respond.

The newly renovated Water Park is open at Lake Casitas!!

Tickets will be $23.00 per person per session; free entry for children under two.
AM Session: 10:30am – 2:00pm
PM Session: 3:00pm – 6:30pm
Weekdays will be open starting June 19
Tickets will be $20.00 per person per day; free entry for children under two.
