Treffen Future & Thanks

I have joined four Airhead Treffens 12, 14, 15, 23 in a ’67 Ghia I’ve had the last 44 years. All of them were awesome in their own way. If you have not personally put on an event of this scale and done it for free, you can’t appreciate the magic and patience and expense it takes to make it happen.

Andre has been an amazing host after assisting Scott for years. I’ve seen his patience tested, he and the Airhead Parts team that have put this event on 25 times have my sincerest gratitude. I’ve never been to a Dead concert, but this is the closest I’ve ever felt to that sort of community.

VW people are the most wonderfully diverse, fun-loving, serious, irreverent, dedicated, and in the end loveable caring group you could ever hope to spend time with. Thank you Andre and Airhead Parts for all the love you have shared over the years. If it’s time to move on, we understand. If you just need some encouragement to get you over the threshold, you have mine. Peace. Brad.

Is this post simply speculation on Treffen 26 based on the fact that we're only a month out from the presumed start date or, something that you have confirmed?

We only learned of Treffen last year and were so excited to join this year.

Hi David-

It is just Speculation and a little encouragement and thanks/appreciation.

I did call Airhead main number a few weeks ago and was told they believed it was happening.

But, as you point out we are only a month or so from the usual start and, crickets.

Hopefully we’ll see a 26 and beyond. And I hope you get to experience one or more!
